Welcome to our temporary pages - we are carrying out a long overdue update on this website, which should be finished by about November 10th, 2003. However for our laboratory it is "business as usual" and we are continuing to provide " sound language evidence " to our UK and overseas clients requiring a range of forensic examinations and analyses of recordings, speech, text, language and noise samples.

With a comprehensive portfolio ranging from providing evidence for enquiries into disasters including the Southall rail crash and the sinking of the Marchioness, determining the circumstances of 999 (000 or 911) calls, identifying participants in poor quality recordings of complex and long-running conspiracies, assessing the linguistic and language capabilities of a non-English speaking defendant in an English speaking Court, working on a blackmail case involving a tribal curse, giving advice in the handling and analysis of surveillance product, to extracting admissible transcripts from recordings everyone else has given up on, AudioLex can provide professional and experienced services where recordings or language are to be used in investigation or evidence. Familiarity with relevant case law in various jurisdictions, a commitment to meet the needs of clients with skill and integrity and to honour our duty to the Court, together with knowledge and understanding of related principles, procedures and techniques in other forensic disciplines, ensures a professional approach to all our casework.
